Need help i have a 2001 nissan frontier and the tail lights stay on when i turn the car off.
The other way to shut the headlights off is to remove the appropriate fuse or relay.
Since then it comes on goes back off.
If the tail lights are illuminated even after you have used the on off switch to command them off that means the switch supplying power is fused shut and or the circuit is being powered when it is not supposed to be due to a wiring fault.

If your breaks light or rear lights won t turn off then chances are one of the break pedal accelerator stop broke off due to wear and tear.
